Christian Ethics - Ideas

• Participate in a community involvement project, such as a homeless shelter, Crop Walk, food bank, clothing closet.
• Schedule special emphasis days, such as Earth Day, World Hunger, National Observance of Children’s Sabbath, Day of Prayer for Peace.
• Invite a guest speaker from a community agency or from the Baptist Center for Ethics.
• Begin awareness and engagement groups that bring people together around issues of hunger and poverty, creation care, peace and justice and church/state issues.
• Start book clubs that discuss current ethical struggles from a Christian perspective.
• Conduct a poverty workshop to help participants gain a sense of the realities of living in poverty.
